When I took my blood pressure again last night (after trying to sleep for close to an hour) it was even higher at 161/102. I am really going to have to monitor that more closely. This morning it was much better at 146/90. Blood sugar is fine too. But I have irritable bowel today and so does Thomas so we are commiserating. I heard him cry in the night and reached out to comfort him. He is a little sweetie. He is also a little mischief and keeps me guessing. He has discovered a great hiding place. He sneaks into the den and if I don't catch him sneaking in and send him scurrying, he hides behind some boxes of slides (Sonia's). Then I leave the room and he is left unattended with my few plants. Now I know where he hides and try to remember to check before I leave.
There was nothing on my 'to do' list today that absolutely had to be done so I am having a quiet day. I am up, dressed and my bed is made. I have send my column in to the paper and made a couple of phone calls that I needed to make. Now I am going to play the harp while my pain pills begin to work and then I am going to do some sorting and de-cluttering. There is still a lot to do. I am feeling really good about what I plan to do with the house over the next few months and feel confident that I am following the best course of action.
