I had an appointment with my doctor late this afternoon to discuss pain medication. I came away with another prescription for dilaudid but he is agreeing to my taking a stonger dose. By the time we were finished it was getting late so I went to Safeways to get my presciption filled and to buy something for supper. I had two chicken drumsticks and some mojos and by the time I got home was ready to head to the auction with my neighbour Marcy.
We had fun at the auction and Marcy managed to get a beautiful solid pine corner china cabinet for $150. She also got two matching area rugs ($15 each) one of which is for me. I bought a trunk for $15. It is old with a rounded dome and has been painted gold. Perfect for a tickle trunk for my future grandchildren. Meanwhile it will look great in my new room downstairs. I also bought a picture for $5 that my cousin Terri had bid on last week. It sold for around $30 that night but I guess they decided they didn't want it. Can't wait to tell Terri I got her picture for her.
When we got home I made room in my garage for Marcy's cabinet and my trunk and also room in my living room for a sofa that she needs out of her house while they are drywalling. Suddenly I was starting to shake and when I checked my blood sugar it was 4.9 which is too low. I have now eaten and am waiting to feel better. My blood pressure was high at 156/98. I realized that I had missed my morning heart and bloodpressure pills. I really need someone to monitor me some days. Sigh.
