Last night I decided that I might want a couple of things at the Wednesday Auction so, since nobody else wanted to go, I went on my own. There were several items that I was interested in but when I got there and examined them I found I didn't LOVE them so I left. My deal with myself is that I don't bring anything into the house that I don't absolutely love and anything that I do bring into the house requires that I remove two similar items from the house. So, not finding anything of great interest, I started homeward.
I stopped at Safeways and spent $100 (not difficult to do) and had a coupon for 100 bonus airmiles. Yay. Then I went to the Liquor store to get some Vodka to go with the Clamato juice I had purchased at Safeways. Next I stopped at the mall and picked up some sushi. Just as I was over the bridge, I phoned Marcy and asked if Cassidy was free to give me a hand in with my purchases. She was so she came and carried all my groceries into the house for me. Then I gave her her favourite sushi - Crazy Ebi Ebi. You would think I had given her the world. :)
Also yesterday morning Esther phoned. I was asleep with the CPAP on and it took me several rings before I could entangle myself and answer the phone. We talked about Christmas and have decided that she will come here on her own on January 2nd until the 7th. That is definitely enough time and I can now look forward to seeing her. The stress of not knowing when she will be here has been lifted so that is wonderful.
Finally I was ready to go to bed but then I remembered that I had to get my column in. I have just been changed back to the Sunday paper. So I looked for my notes from the Seniors' meeting but couldn't find them. I searched and searched. I even went out to the car to look for them but to no avail. So I did the column from memory and sent it. I crawled into bed (around 2am) and switched off the bedside lamp. No sooner had I done that than I remembered where my notes from the meeting were. I got up and found them so went to edit my copy. I did that and sent it in around 3am. I sent an email to Esther and played a couple of games. I went to bed around 4am but couldn't sleep so got up again until 7am when I could finally relax enough. I had restless legs and just couldn't seem to get them to stop dancing until then.
I slept until around noon and then tried to get going. Unfortunately the weather was changing and I was in pain. I took pain medication but it didn't help a lot. Now it is raining so that is why I was suffering. I had wanted to go out and run a bunch of errands but that will have to wait.
I will try to do some stuff around here tonight. I am hopefully going to a Red Hat event tomorrow morning and there are a few things that I would like to do to make my costume even better. So adieu for now my friends. Hope all is well with the rest of you.

I'm okay - feeling very pregnant and I'm only 10 weeks! I can't wait to get an ultrasound and see what's going on in there....
I'm sorry you've been hurting. I sometimes hear people crack jokes about restless leg syndrome. I usually call them on it. They don't think it's real. :P
I'm glad Esther is coming for a long visit. I wish we could come up for Christmas too but... I'll be there in spirit. :)
