My beautiful daughter is arriving ... Sunday

Another flying visit from Esther. Flying in that she is actually coming and going via air and also flying in the sense that she will be gone almost as soon as she arrives. She comes in around 10pm Sunday and departs again around 8pm Wednesday. Lisa will be arriving on Monday from Keremeos and I won't see much of Esther for the next couple of days or so. Canada Day is on Tuesday so I don't know what the girls will be doing. It is going to be HOT so I will be in my bedroom thank you.

I got my CPAP machine yesterday and slept with it last night. I have felt a bit brighter today and haven't had a nap yet so that is nice. Time will tell if it is going to be a big help. It is a very quiet machine and I can't say that it is difficult to get used to. The cats don't seem impressed - neither one of them slept with me last night. Thomas had a good look / sniff at it this morning but it wasn't running.

I had an appointment with my Family Doctor today and came right home as there was no parking spot close to the Safeways doors. It was so hot that I didn't want to have to walk more that a few steps. I will try to go after 8pm tonight. The pharmacy closes at 9pm and I want to be able to put my prescription in. I am in a fair bit of pain right now but just took two Tylenol #3 so maybe they will take the edge off enough for me to walk a bit.

Paul (handyman) was over this morning to plan some work. If all goes well he will be able to haul a lot of stuff to the dump and clear up my yard. He is going to haul all of Rick's (another so called handyman) old and useless lumber to the dump as well so I will have the use of a small shed area to store my lawn mower and other tools. Then he is going to dismantle my deck and build me a new one. I hope it all works out well. I would like to get the house on the market in August.

Well, must go for now. I hope everyone is well and happy.
