MMmmm, the purrrrrfect .... latte

I got absolutely amazing foam on the milk I steamed for my latte again today. I think it must be something to do with the atmosphere or ? Somedays the foam is great and other days not so great. But today ... purrrrfect. Absobloomin'lutely purrrfect.

Cole is part siamese and he considers himself an outdoor cat. I haven't been letting him out and he goes around the house yowling something that sounds like "NNOOOOOOOOO". It is tempting to just open the door but the babies in the backyard are just learning to fly so they don't need him stalking them. Cole is very sleek and muscular so I think he is likely a very good hunter. So it is going to be NNOOOOOOOOO for a long time.

I had a busy day on the phone. I called my local branch of my bank to make an appointment with one of the officers. A nice sounding young woman answered and told me that she would go check with the booking person. She came back on the phone a minute later and told me that he no longer worked there and could she help me. Now, I pictured someone working in my branch and since I know most of them by name I thought she must just be new. Anyway I told her my complicated problem and she began pulling up my files. Blaine, the fella I had wanted to see, had made a bit of a mess for me but after about a half hour this lovely gal seemed to have it straightened out. Hopefully it will run smoothly now for me when I am online.

I had been refused money from my line of credit even though I had plenty of credit remaining. The reason was that the bank claimed that I hadn't paid even the minimum amount ever (was set up in December). Now I knew that was not right. So this young woman found that the link to the line of credit only went one way and my payments were sitting in an account that really didn't exist. I owed a total of $150 if I had paid the minimum each month and in actual fact had paid $750. So that is all staightened out now but she had to back date each payment into the proper account so that I would save interest etc. Wow. There were a few other little problems that she found but they are hopefully all straightened out now and it will be smooth sailing from now on.

So now I can pay my property taxes as well as those for Sonia's dad's place. It is nice to have money available. I was a tad worried there. There were a few other little problems like that today. Then I learned that Esther is coming for a visit on Sunday. Too much excitement all at once.
