Today is the day of the Red Hat Peaches event of May. We were joining with a Summerland group to go to Naramata, tour a winery, have lunch on the patio overlooking the lake and so on. However, I had to phone and cancel this morning because of my heart. Yesterday the temperature soared to 30 degrees Celcius and it is supposed to be even warmer today. Last night I was very hot but with the use of a fan managed to cool enough to sleep and get my heart back into a decent rhythmn. This morning I have an ache in my chest and I knew that I had to cancel the trip so colour me blue (not red and purple) today.
Marcy came over last night after work (around midnight). She brought my air conditioner in from the garage for me so I will try to get it set up in the window of my bedroom today. I haven't heard from Rick so I don't know if he will be here at all or not. I need someone outside to place a board in the top of the window that closes everything off to the outside. If he doesn't show, I will figure something out for the short term because I NEED the a/c.
Yesterday I bought two hanging baskets of white mini petunias. They will be very pretty when they grow just a little more. I was unable to do any more shopping for plants because it was hot and my heart just couldn't take it. But at least we got that far. And I did get to the Lawyer's Sonia. Nothing yet to report.

Oh that sucketh that you missed your day out with the Red Hats. I'm sorry. I hope you can get the air conditioner up and running.
