Today is a day of ... RECKONING

Today is Wednesday which is the day I attempt to do any paperwork I need to do. Today is also the end of the month which means I have bills to pay. However, the biggest problem is that it is the 30th of April and that means INCOME TAX! On the positive side, I do have all the information slips gathered BUT on the other side of the equation is the fact that I have yet to get started the work.

I also have a workman doing some painting and so on in the bathroom and he likes to talk so we are both multi-tasking. He - painting and talking, me blogging and responding when I need to. I went out a few days ago to select and buy the linoleum and arborite. He also wanted me to decide on a paint colour. That took a while. My neighbour Marcy and I brought home several swatches. Another gal came over and she and Marcy picked a lovely shade of sandy/taupe. This morning Paul arrived with some leftover paint that is a bright yellow and said lets go with this instead. Too funny. I don't care - all I want is clean and fresh.

Well, Paul has given up on me for conversation and has turned on the radio instead. Tuned of course to the local Country / Western station ... Eee Haw!
