This day is in the ... toilet!

I am finally having my bathroom finished and brought into this century. My purple toilet will soon be exchanged for a white one. I have chosen and bought the linoleum, arborite for the counter and backsplash and paint. The man who will be doing the work for me came today to get a start and assess what he needs to do and then go and get some more goodies like trim, glue, levelling agent and more. He will be back tomorrow to hopefully really get into it. I am so excited and have waited too long for this.

Today I have just puttered around doing a little bit of this and that. I got my column in to the paper by noon and have produced the bulletin for the next month at Seniors'. I will have copies made of that tomorrow to have ready for the meeting. I also wrote a letter of nomination for 'Senior of the Year' and will turn that in tomorrow as well. I had a productive morning.

This afternoon was a little less productive although I did make myself some lunch and have supper prepared as well. I did up the dishes and made myself a second latte. I don't usually have two in a day, nor do I have coffee every day but today I just felt like it. I spent a couple of hours on the phone returning calls and now I am playing. :) I need to do a few more chores before calling it a day though. Tomorrow is garbage day so I need to gather up the waste and have it ready to whistle out to the curb by 8am. I also need to do some laundry and hopefully some time to begin my income tax return. It is due on Wednesday. YIPES.
