Thomas' first Christmas.... with me.

I didn't get a very good picture but Thomas just loved to lie or sit by the tree and stare at the electric train. He wasn't worried if I turned it on. Cole on the other hand would move away to a safe distance. Thomas would just watch it go by and then turn around to watch it come back around. He didn't try to swat it or de-rail it, he was just intrigued.

I was careful not to have plants around or cut flowers as Thomas would eat at them and be sick. I was worried about the needles from the tree but he didn't bother with them.

I want to move into a condo with my two kitties and today is the third meeting where this issue will be discussed. A petition has gone around and is in favour but this meeting still will not be the final one apparently. This has been going on since before Christmas. I am getting a tad frustrated but then I take a deep breath and leave it to God. I try to practice the saying "let go and let God" but being human, it is sometimes a little difficult for me to do that .

Well, I must go and take on my day. I have much to do today. But I will have music with me wherever I go. I have a new saying for myself "tidy and the lost shall be found" - I have been missing my iPod for weeks. I couldn't find it in any of the usual places. I looked and looked and finally yesterday while I was tidying my room...... I lifted a pile of papers that I keep meaning to do something with and there it was. Oops. So I plugged it in to recharge last night and today I have music. Thank you Esther for the lovely gift that you gave me for the last birthday (60th) - I will try not to misplace it again - or rather, not cover it up with inconsequential debris. So colour me happy this Monday.

Oh man, now Lily's great-aunt has an ipod. I think I need to take bigger steps in the tech world. I think the fact that this pet thing hasn't been dismissed out of hand is a good sign. Hopefully, your friend can keep up the pressure! :)
