My left knee is getting progressively worse. I got up to answer the phone a little while ago and fell instead. I didn't fall to the floor as I was right beside the bed and managed to grab the knob on the footboard and pull myself over. But my knee twisted badly and swelled immediately. I have ice on it as I write.
I was supposed to be on my way out to a Potluck supper at the Seniors' Centre but I phoned and said I wouldn't be there. I still haven't had any sleep, my heart is racing and skipping (AFib) and now this. I did make it out to a Red Hat Luncheon today though - although I just sat there - not my usual roudy self. I did wear the hat Esther bought me for my last birthday and it caused a stir in the pub. One man called out "you have the best hat of 'em all lady - I like that leopard trim". I like it too. It is an awesome hat. I don't have a picture of it so I can't incorporate it - another time.
Well, I am going to hobble to the kitchen to get a bottle of water and then I am going to get into bed and read or try to sleep. I hope everyone is having a better evening than I am.

No, I'm not having a better time. Lily bashed my nose with her head while I was trying to get her to sleep and I spent much of the evening with ice on my nose. :(
The nose bashing was after she pooped in the tub. SIGH!
I'm sorry you hurt your knee. Feel better soon.
Oh my goodness. You are having an even worse time than me. I remember when I was in my first year of nurses' training - an elderly woman that I was bathing pooped in the tub. Nothing to do but grab the log and pitch it in the toilet. Sigh. Such is life.
Well, Pedro had to grab the poop whilst I grabbed Lily and finished washing her up in the shower. My tactic is to grab her the next time she pees in the tub (which usually precedes the poop) and put her on her potty. I keep trying to tell her that pee in poop go in the toilet so she'll catch on. Sigh. She's been a barrel of fun lately. :P)
I hope you're feeling better.
