Rain, Pain, and ... errands

Today brought a wet morning but this afternoon it began to heat up. Marcy drove us into Kelowna in the early afternoon and we both did a bunch of small errands. It is so good to have those nagging little jobs done with. Yay us.

Earlier this evening I went in to shop at Safeways which is just over the bridge so not that far really. That done, I returned home and watched a little TV and now I am ready for bed.

Tomorrow I hope to go get my bedding plants and hanging baskets so I can make this house a showcase for the summer. I also got some mail today that needs to go in to Sonia's lawyer so I will take that as well. After all that is done I can really enjoy my Red Hat event on Friday. We are dressing up and car pooling to Summerland where we will board a small (20 seat) bus that will take us to a winery near Naramata. There we will have a tour, taste some wine and enjoy a lovely lunch overlooking Lake Okanagan. It should be most enjoyable.

That sounds like an awesome day out. :) I mean the Red Hat thing. I'm looking forward to next Friday when Lily and I will join other mom's and their kids, to go to a petting farm.

I know, I'm 37 and I still love to pet baby animals. SUE ME!

Lily did really well at playgroup today. :) She's so gentle with babies. :)
