It rained during the night and continued for part of the morning. Having fibromyalgia, I suffer when it rains.
I did go to Seniors. Put out the reserved sign early to save a parking spot for our entertainer. Went to the UPS store to have the bulletin copied 125 times and so on. I managed to hobble to the front to introduce our entertainer and to celebrate the birthdays for this month.
After the meeting I posted my mail, went to the butchers, the green grocers and then, on my way out, spotted the 'open' sign on a curio store that I have been wanting to visit. Tired as I was I pulled in and parked. The store is full of wonderful items - some new and some from years past. There is a whole section of Red Hat items. Hats, boas, gloves, shoes, slippers, scarves and the list goes on. The owner is a Red Hatter said the lady who waited on me. I asked this lady if the owner had been at the Ruckus on Friday and she said yes. She also said that she had accompanied her employer. Then she looked at me and said "oh my, you are the woman with the mask! aren't you?" I said I was and she went on and on about how they had loved my costume. Small world isn't it.
I am home now and have taken a pain pill and had a drink so am feeling somewhat better. I phoned Esther. I also talked to her this morning but somehow wanted some contact with her again this evening. She and Vandip are on their way out for a nice dinner. It is Esther's 27th birthday. It seems like yesterday that I held her in my arms in the 'case room'. Mark my words Sonia - when Lily is in her 20's you will say the same. Time just flies and as you look back it doesn't seem that long ago.
My niece, Sonia, is ten years older than my daughter Esther. So you can do the math. :) I love you both my lovelies.

It does go by too fast. I still miss the laughter and just having them make noise in another room. Now Pedro and Sonia get to be gifted with gaggles of giggles :)
So many people have told me how fast the time goes that at first I was irritated, but then I decided that all those 10 people couldn't be wrong.
I enjoy every day with Lily and delight in each of her discoveries and achievements. I hold her feet in my hand and imagine what it will be like when they'll be bigger than mine. :)
